The PDS Dalby 100 event was the final round of the 2021 AORRA Mickey Thompson ARB QLD Offroad Racing Championships, 22nd - 24rd October 2021.
Thank you to Gympie Auto Sports Club for organising such a great event.
This event was very symbolic for the Black Betty Team, it was where our love affair with off road racing began a year ago when we attended the Diaper 100 event as spectators.
Betty had a couple of great runs on Saturday, seeding in the top 10 after prologue and maintaining a steady pace throughout. Her performance seemed off with a different engine tone we couldn't quite put our finger on - turned out to be a failed head gasket putting us out of the running for Sunday.
Congratulations to all the competitors, there was such a huge turnout to this event and with betty out of the race on Sunday, it meant the Black Betty Team could sit back and enjoy spectating
Thank you also to our race Team and support crew for all your hard work over the weekend and weeks leading up the event. There were some very big weekends working in the shed rebuilding Betty after her incident at the Don River, amazing effort to get her back on the track to see her to the final round of the Championship. It is through the Team's commitment and sacrifice that this is all possible. Thank you for your support!
A very big THANK YOU to the race organisers, timing officials, stewards and recovery crew. A very enjoyable event.
